When the City of Perth Amboy, NJ was looking to increase
operating efficiencies, improve water service and address
rapidly climbing infrastructure replacement costs, it found
a trusted and reliable partner in Middlesex Water Company.
Middlesex Water assumed management and operation of the City's
water and sewer utilities under a 20-year contract while the
City retained ownership of its assets. The partnership resulted
in property tax stabilization for the City, reasonable rates
for customers and numerous capital improvements.
